I've been invited to a presentation of "28 Movements" by R.D. next month including a "special offer" on purchases made during the event. The invitation is not too specific as to what is intended to be understood by "28 Movements" but I have been thinking ... 

I would say it's probably an event showcasing different movements made by the manufacturer. While I don't recall any movement called 28, I would venture a guess that the number is referring to the fact that each combination of dial/case material/style wou... 

Jester, I agree that it may be a reference to the old Roger Dubuis habit of making mini-series of 28 watches albeit differing in small design details between "series". Has anyone counted if RD have reached 28 movements since inception? Finally, there is a...
