and has since new. It will be going back for the five year service in a month or two and I will mention it. It never bothered me enough to send it in while it was under warranty.
I bought my 5270G late November 2011 at full msrp. I love it and if I was offered a return for full money I wouldn't take it! My 5970P has been very lonely since the 5270G arrived.
I find the pins very problematic on my 5726. I add or remove a link depending on the season on all my watches and the pins make it difficult. I wish Patek would adopt a micro adjustment system or go back to screws.
Are they really selling for $150k? The same 4 have been listed on ebay for years. Sellers can ask whatever they want but is anyone actually buying at this price? I don't think so. I bought my 5131G from an AD at retail after about a 1 year wait.
About a year ago my AD called me and said he had a 5131 enroute and would I like to apply. He told me there was only one watch for his three locations. I obviously applied. About two weeks later I was told that the 5131 was given to a customer at one of the other stores. My AD told me it was Patek's
