As far as the watch dial is concerned, blue is definitely my favorite color, yes, even more than grey, black and silver. Really impressed by the wonderful shades of blue Patek is applying for various dials in the past decade. The metallic dark blue (5070P...

Thank you Nicolas and Oliver. For this kind of watches, I really have to say that photos never do justice to the real object. Human eyes are indeed much more sophisticated than any camera and screen.

The center dial is somehow brighter, but it is also very nice with the very fine guilloche pattern engraved (or pressed). The blue part has the metallic structure, too. I am very curious whether the guilloche in this particular watch dial is machine engra...  

In comparison, the 5100G dial has a much less metallic feeling. The dark blue color is rather even and won't change much with different light angles. It is quieter and lower profile. In a very strong lighting condition (e.g. in the direct sunlight), howev...

I never had a chance to try a 5070 in flesh until few days ago. I have always thought it is a nice watch but not for me because of my small wrist... but that was before ! Now that I have realized how cool this watch is, I have put it first on my wish list...

Congratulations, Mike. I believe that it's the JLC Reverso Tourbillon 1993, one of the best looking JLC for me. Huge congratulations on this wonderful piece! The cal. 828 looks in my very own opinion much much better than most current ones…a true JLC marv...
