In my opinion, the white dial version works best for this model. How many turns are needed to fully wind it?

Gondolo 8 Days

This is my new acquisition of a very nice Patek piece, which was under the radar for me before: The Gondolo 8 Days 5200G. While obviously not very popular nor hyped, this classic represents Patek more than Aquanaut or Nautilus for me: Discreet and elegant...
Congratulations on getting this

unusual, classy and elegant piece ! 👍. Furthermore, it is great value for its complications vs popular sports watches. This watch is indeed discrete and is recognized by mainly in-the-know collectors.
So nice!

Excellent pickup of a watch not often seen. Thank you for posting the pictures!
Congratulations.

I would have to count…

Thank you for all your posts. The winding indeed takes a bit longer than usual, many turns to do. Doesn‘t wind faster than usual movements, so about four times in comparison to usual watches…

I saw one of these back in 2019 in New Orleans at Coleman Adler. They are excellent watches and (in my opinion) a solid candidate to be worth much more in the years ahead. Congratulations on a beautiful acquisition!
