Hobnail Bliss
I agree with Whit that the 3796 is one of the most classic Patek designs of all time. Another watch that is historically important but mostly forgotten is the 3796D (the D represents Decoratif referring to the hobnail bezel). In my opinion, the 3796D and the 3520D are what helped make the 3919 and now 5119 some of the most iconic watches ever made.

It seems that the bulk of discussion revolves around highly complicated or " very hard to get" pieces and I sense the simple watches for some reason don't measure up for discussion. So I would like to see if there is some interest in 3796's (my favorite) ...
