175 years … what to expect

 By: Bruno.M1 : August 17th, 2014-10:06
My guess, don't ask me why but since 6 or 12 months I have a feeling we could see a world timer chronograph Both complications are important for Patek and they did make one long ago Imo not the best they ever made but anno 2014 I'm sure they could make ...

They'd better " offer " us something really exciting to deserve such a long teaser.

I would have nothing against a World Timer Chrono. If it is nice and in white metal. Just more than one month to wait... Best, Nicolas

Hi Nico, in addition to your wanting of a white metal WT chrono...I would add...

as you probably can expect from me, enamel dial with a map, in the middle !! :)

Of course, my friend, of course! BUT...

It may not be for us, mere mortals, in this case.... Best, Nicolas

Well Nico, I am sure you can pull some strings because...

 By: GLau : August 18th, 2014-00:23
it would be worth it !! How cool would it be to own a 175th Patek reference of the iconic WorldTime chrono with cloisonné enamel dial ???!!!

Well, if the outcome is the same, for me, than with the 5070P ...

 By: amanico : August 18th, 2014-00:39
I'd better not think about it... I was the first on the list for the 5070P, and still waiting for mine to be delivered. Best, Nicolas

being first on a list means nothing

 By: Bruno.M1 : August 18th, 2014-03:26
In some occasions it happened to me too so I understand the frustration. But on the other hand.... It is acceptable cause I am sure it are always the same who are first on the list. We are well informed because we spent way too much time on this passion. ...

"enamel dial with a map"

 By: small-luxury-world : August 18th, 2014-03:54
Gordon, I agree with the map in general - it would be very nice together with a chronograph. Maybe they could do something even more special than what we saw until today. Something beyond "simple" enamel ... something very special under their sleeve ... A...

Hi Oliver, "Something beyond "simple" enamel" would be amazing, and it would be...

...very difficult to secure one because the production run would be very small Hope the lucky Purist(s) who hit the jackpot will share lots of photos and comments in this forum. Cheers, Gordon

So true ...

still there is hope :-) Cordially, Oliver

I would love to see this time piece and you know it!

I REALLY hope it comes true and it is a beautifully designed and executed timepiece from Patek.

Bruno, I like the idea ...

I like it a lot. Best, Oliver

they won't make an enamel piece

 By: ch9698 : August 18th, 2014-06:24
Patek has already too much trouble to furnish 5131. I think about a new complication: an alarm clock watch

5131 is already made since 2008... 6years later it might be discontinued

 By: Bruno.M1 : August 18th, 2014-06:38
And if so they can make another enamel piece :-) Not saying they will discontinue it but the 5970 for example also had a pretty short production run.

that would be pretty awesome....

always like that worldtime with a chrono!

That would be to die for and very difficult to get hand on!

 By: tempus : August 20th, 2014-14:51
I think a watch like this would be only possible to get if you are a super client (minute-repeater client).. For me a rattrapante in ss without perpetual calendar would be good enough :-)

Here we go ...

 By: small-luxury-world : August 20th, 2014-14:57
Ref. 5950, available since 2010 :-) Cheers, Oliver ...

Thanks Oliver

Yes, I know this...but I mean a Rattrapante based on 29-535 PS in a round 42mm case. Dauphine hands would be nice, too! ;-)
