I spoke with Mr. Pettinelli directly and the 5960 and 5980 will be discontinued after 2013.   The movement will most likely get a new home but he was not forthcoming with those details.  We will just have to wait and see and trust the worlds greatest watch company.

My 5960R is already discontinued with this grey colour and if the rumours are right the 5980 will no longer be in the collection come 2014 either....

I only wore two watches for the picture and strings on my "watch bearing wrist" are soft. They do not leave any marks at all.
