there is a finite amount of lemania 5070s out there. The new in-house mvmt will be produced for the next decade. Both are gorgeous!

No. Please. Thanks.

Sorry. I didn't understand why you said "no. please..."

Don't you like this model? Cheers! JR

I am not sure entirely what Nicholas meant................

But I can tell you that he is a HUGE fan of the 5070. I shall let Nicholas elaborate himself should he wish.

I meant that No, they're are not produced anymore, and that a " Please " just after asking

Here's when and how many they made 5070J (or jaune, yellow gold) - more or less 250 per year from 1998 untill 2002 5070G (or gris, white gold) - more or less 250 per year from 2002 untill 2006 5070R (or rouge, red gold) - more or less 250 per year from 20...

Interesting guesses!

Hi, Don't take me wrong, but as Patek Philippe doesn't disclose production figures.... That's not that what you write is wrong, but we have no clue or proof or official statement that they are right either. Cheers Dje

yes we do

Dje, a couple of years ago it was written in one of the Patek Magazines. I presume we can believe it when it's written in their own magazine. It said they made about 250 5070's per color per year. I'll try to find it and post it here.

i agree

you're right Bruno, i read 250 gold 5070 in an early Patek mag, Laurent , before he joined Gérald Genta, told me the same , saying 5070 lemania was longer to produce than new 5960 caliber , 5070 P : i heard only 70 produced cheers

here you can read it

They don't make any distinction between the color of Gold.

So should we read that during the 4 years when both the G and the R were produced, the toal of the G and R was 250 per year? And if so, gow many in G and how many in R? May you tell us when this article was written and published, please? Thanks a lot, Bru...

so it should be less than 1000 per color

 By: Bruno.M1 : September 9th, 2010-07:58
Indeed, they said max 250 per year but there were years when they made 2 colors R and G 700 per color ?

LOL, you're incorrigible, Bruno.

 By: amanico : September 9th, 2010-08:12
Maybe they made less G and R than P? Best, Nicolas

No worries there will be surely a new pp chrono out soon.

With the new inhouse movement most likely. Just a wild guess but not too vague, I believe. Regards Moritz

It is the 5170 and it was anounced 6 months ago. You probably mean a new 5970 (perpetual chrono) This message has been edited by Bruno.M1 on 2010-09-08 06:39:52

Thanks a lot for your answers and to educate me.

I have the 5070 in rose gold and in platinum. Love them! I saw that the 5970 in rose gold, that I also have, is not included in the "current collection" at Patek's website. I think they are all collection now!! Thanks again! Regards. JR
