No one there! Later that day, passengers from three flights from Helsinki to Amsterdam were put on one flight. Total number of passengers: four! Midsummer Sunday is a day like no other. Finns of course are unaware of all this - they are all too busy sleep...

First of all, some 50% of Finns take their annual holidays starting from Midsummer. Many travel abroad, really many to their summer cottages, and very many rent a hut from camping areas or are travelling with caravan or tent. Nobody stays in Helsinki. So ...

This part of the thread started off with saying how safe Helsinki is. And I simply stated that this is true, Midsommer Sunday morning in Helsinki for sure. I believe i do get the Finnish way of life. I've spend lots of time there for many weeks each time....
