This is the month/year for the Perpetual Calendars owners!

Feb 22, 2008,20:25 PM

Hi folks, it's obvious I'm pretty 'nervous' this month, in a good way. It's Feb and it's the Leap Year! Without maddling with my beloved 3940's crown, (I vow not to unless the watch stops running for whatever reason), I want to video the 'changeover' from 29 Feb to 1 Mar. Anyone knows the exact time this would happen? (I guess I could find this out by staying late one night). Come to think about this little adventure, i might as well video the 'changeover' from 28 Feb to 29 Feb (less exciting I supposed). Ok guys, I have 5 days before these activities happen, appreciate if you have any suggestions? Sorry, but this is my first perpetual, and probably this sort of excitment happens once in 4 years. cheers haha

I think your leap year indicator is not on the leap year

Hi, the photo on your thread below show your leap year just after the 4=> it should be between the '3' and the '4'. If you don't change it you will miss the big event on your watch the 29th lol cheers nicolas

The Leap Year indicator is correct.

Thanks for raising this doubt. I have since gotten a formal reply from Patek that the position of the indicator is correct. I believe you might have mistaken the 'month' indicator with the leap year indicator. So it's all now clear and counting down towar...

Ready for the kick off tonight ?
