Patek Philippe at Baselworld 2014 … (teaser & more)

Mar 21, 2014,13:22 PM

... is coming soon and I am aware quite a few of you are waiting for the novelties impatiently.

Which novelties will we see in the Aquanaut, Calatrava, Complications, Golden Elipse, Gondolo, Grand Complications, Nautilus and Twenty ~ 4 Collection? What will be out of production? …?

Lots of important ( smile ) questions …

Still there is an embargo for all novelties from Patek Philippe and we will stick to it, like we always did before.

The official press conference from Patek Philippe is next Wednesday. I will attend and will share all the novelties presented, as soon as possible. There will be press pictures, live pictures, hands-on views, in-depth report and so on – step by step.

Until next week I will share a “teaser picture” in this thread every day.

That´s all I can do for now and I hope you will like it. Stay tuned!

Oliver

Note to all: In case you are wondering what happened to the original post and why I had to delete the old one and to do a new one. It is because some people are not able to accept an embargo - text or/and picture. I decided to delete the former one and will try it again - for the last time. Thought we shouldn´t loose the fun, just because of some ...
But unfortunately I had also to delete all your replies and I feel very sorry for this, even when it was not my fault. Sorry! Let´s try again.

I will show (now) the last three days in one post and go ahead tomorrow.

Embargo or not, some people will ... (Day 2)

… already try their best to get some more details and facts …

I know it´s hard to wait, but part of the fun smile

There might be something for the gentleman … (Day 3)

… and maybe the businessman as well …

More to see tomorrow ...

Oliver

I like such mysterious trailers

Of a steel 5960 white face with bracelet, of course it may be photoshop, but whether it is or not, it doesn't feel very Patek like at all!!

.... that 5070P got really stuck in your throat. Look at the bright side, it got you to hunt down, for a while and a difficult hunt... for the 5070G. Can you imagine what it would have been for a 5070P?

Sorry, but when you are the first on the list, normally, you are served.

 By: amanico : March 25th, 2014-22:38
I don't have the pretention to be the first served, I can wait one year, or two. but I passed on several TRUE watches I hunted for a while to get this one. Lesson learned. I thought that only Panerai did that, since, I know that they are not alone. Best, ...

No Nico, imagine if that was true...

One of the new models is awful!

And i'm referring to the other one... PP is turning to the dark side as AP, every day one more sporty watch despite what did her huge success (classic watch and clean dial). pecunia non olet.

My mistake, these Guys seem serious and I thought that was somehow official as a starter for more news today. Looking forward to your post with some real pictures. Best, Stan

They say "ho my god" "no way" "What have they done!" For me Patek is understated, complication under a simple appearance and timeless elegance; this is not what I have seen on the novelties till now. I am a bit shocked honestly. Please Philippe come back....

Those two are not my cup of tea, let's say they are daring, and I expect from Patek more conservatism (I would say timeless classic) :) An I wish you a good time out there, it's quite a lot of coverage work! Gute Nacht ;) François
