All cars have the same ethos...

Respectfully, try to see it from another person's point of view.

Almost all cars have two headlights in front, a grille in the middle, doors, two taillights in the back and a tailpipe.  But it's how it's all arranged and shaped that makes them all different.

Why is a Mercedes different from a Toyota?  They both have 3.0 liter engines, 4 doors, a bonnet, a trunk, a steering wheel, pedals, and seating for five.  Functionally they are the same and they even serve the same purpose.  But to many there is a world of difference.  That world of difference is what we embrace here on PuristSPro, and I'm not referring to the price difference.  If you fail to see the difference, then I'd ask you why you want a Patek Philippe at all, if only for the brand awareness?

Reading your post history, I'm having difficulty to tell if you're a person who fails to understand details (you asked what's the difference between 5107 and 5127) or you're a person who asks questions upon others before considering what the answer is yourself.  We'd really like to embrace your participation on PuristSPro but I would kindly ask you to think about details.

Life is like a brick wall, all you see are bricks, but you have to remember that it's the details, it's the mortar between those bricks that are equally important as the bricks.  A brick wall isn't strong without mortar, and mortar without bricks isn't a wall.

I encourage you to continue participating on PuristSPro and please do so in the most thoughtful way possible.  And try to look at things in greater detail.

represents to me the proper positioning of the subsidiary seconds hand. PP loves the 215PC movement and rightfully so. However as they went from the 3796 @31mm to the 5096 @34mm to 5196 @37mm, the poor sub. seconds dial has stayed small but moved up towar...
