Go for 4. White dial!

Aug 11, 2013,05:01 AM

I own a VC Overseas Chronograph 49150/B01A-9095 with white dial for three years now and it was my daily beater for more than two years. The guilloches on the silvered dial changes the visual impression depending on the color of the ambient light and the angel of the illumination. The superluminova-coated hands increase this effect as they change the color as well (from matt white to bright white). The changing appearance of the dial is a real pleasure to the eyes and is never boring me. You should opt for option 4!

Here are some pictures for illustration; even it was hard to catch the different effects (big pictures to show the details):

I am about to take the plunge and purchase my first VC - an overseas chrono on a stainless bracelet, but also plan in the future to wear with a rubber and leather strap. Having admired this group for some time, I would like to pose a question regarding th...

... the blue dial, if we talk about the chronograph. The grey is nice as well, but I find the blue more tempting and still ok for business ocassions. If you would ask for the chronograph with perpetual calendar and something special ... ... grey dial with...

I own the blue and it is magnificent

And couldn't be happier. It comes with a rubber strap as well. Best of both worlds. I think this version errs more on the dressy side. ...

All versions are great.....

And I'm sure you'll be happy with whichever model you choose. When I had an older version of the Overseas with blue dial I wore it all the time, from suits to shorts. Should you choose the blue dial, it is good to know that there are blue rubber and blue ...

Well, this thread proves one thing to me...

I have never met an Overseas I don't like. :-D Seriously, the photos posted thus far seem to show that any of the dials will be versatile, so if the blue one sings to you the most, why not get that one? I will add mine to the mix (US Special Edition with ...

Nice pen too ;-)

Is that the VC Montblanc?

Yes, it is.

It is very special to me. If I had not already been bitten by the VC bug, this pen sealed the deal. :-)
