Nicholas, thank you for the indepth write-up. I just purchased the platinum with the silver dial several weeks ago. Have not been able to get it off my wrist since it arrived. The salmon dial looks great. Great weigh also to the platinum. Thanks again for taking the time.

In the world of Exclusive Chronographs, there are a very few Competitors... People have immediately in mind the A.LANGE Datograph, the Patek Philippe 5070, The new to come JLC Duo Metre à Chronographe, and least but not last...The Vacheron Constantin, in ...

A great read....

Notice, with the platinum case one gets 4 screws to fasten the case back to the case, here a snap back! A small detail... A classic chronograph, elegant & timeless. Congrats on getting that wonderful version, I love it. Cheers, Tim...

Another great find, 4 years ago... Indeed, the Salmon dial adds some Exclusivity, some Elegance and refunement to these 2 watches. But, IMO, the VC is a bit above, even more exclusive, and a bit more elegant. best! Nicolas

Pulsometer dial versus telemetric dial
By: LarryFRCGP : November 24th, 2008-17:19
I do notice a version of VC chronograph bearing a pulsometer dial instead of the telemetric dial. Any data on how many Les Historiques" made with pulsometer dial? Larry

Very much enjoyable, and the photos are fantastic! I too have been longing for a 47101/47111. I am particularly interested in the YG for its timeless warmth, especially now in this cold season.
Fantastic review!
