It took me quite a while to locate one, but alas, it is mine. Unassuming, elegant, and sublime, while just reminding the wearer with the whirl of the winding mechanism that its still on the wrist from time to time, the 5711 closes the chapter for my long ...

now you just need 15202 aside. If you keep the Diver, you could pair it with "Nautilus Offshore" - I mean one of those thicker modern Nautilus. Congrats! Best, Kari

Thanks and lol!

 By: sanzaw : December 14th, 2014-20:23
The 15202 is a slow setting poison that will take its due course in time. Hopefully the sting of the nautilus stops at the 5711 ;) My next Patek purchase will not be too soon I hope, and if it does, I'm leaning towards the world timer. Ah, the slippery sl...

Indeed, 15202

... can't argue with that one, and what a beauty!

Not really much more beautiful than 5712. BUT

 By: dr.kol : December 14th, 2014-21:24
it's the original complicated Nautilus and the case is constructed from two pieces just like in 3700. This one is one of the watches that is anchored into my small collection. Best, Kari

Very nice...

I just had a meeting today, and unlike my other time pieces, it did not disrupt the flow of the meeting (i.e., attract stares), but instead, aided it in a smooth flow. A gentleman's sports watch, in my own little humble definition therefore, is one that d...

Hearty congratulations! That is an outstanding piece - and a great photo too. I've just been playing with a new 15202 in an AP Boutique. It was very, very, very nice. But the 5711 keeps calling to me. Why? It's a little more elegant - suits my wrist a tin...

That's trouble! ;)

Fabios, you're going to get me into trouble with that trio, lol! While I swore to myself I'll just have one Nautilus in my collection, should a mint condition 3712 with its sexy 2-piece construction were to float pass by, I'm not sure my resolve will stan...

Hopefully, not too soon...

... my wallet needs to recover first, lol!

You will probably notice the problem with Nautilus...

 By: Mike H : December 16th, 2014-16:52
... Just like me and few friends of mine who all face the same problem with that watch in many of its versions: it is too versatile, too comfortable, too easy to wear in all circomstances. Thus once you have a Nautilus temptation is really big to wear it ...

That's my headache now...

 By: sanzaw : December 17th, 2014-06:32
Earlier on, it was a fairly balanced rotation between my AP Diver, Daytona, and Panerai. Now, let's just say the 5711 is taking the lion's share of wrist time.

Gorgeous
