Ok its coming to the end of the Year.... What is your last watch for 2009 ?

 By: Bill Sohne : December 10th, 2009-17:48
Hi With 2009 coming to a close... What is your last watch purcahase for 2009 ? For me I thought it was going to be this Omega Seamaster chronometer date , at lest that is what I told my wife !! Then this Tissot Navigator came along... Then that was going ...

Ditto! I was just talking to cazalea about . . .

 By: Dr No : December 10th, 2009-20:03
. . . how lean 2009 was . . . the only outlays were for servicing and straps. My fingers are crossed for 2010 . . . cordially, Art

Offered Art a fine watch and he turned it down; rather pay his rent

 By: cazalea : December 10th, 2009-20:34
I would have thought that a moderator had an obligation to help Purists in their pursuit of "last watch of the year"! Now I might have to sell something. But can't say what - gotta have another look - what can I part with?

Why would Art need your watches?...

He now has Mom's Longines to keep him amused.... Cheers, pplater.

 By: amanico : December 10th, 2009-22:36
It had to be a JLC Military WWW, then I found a nice Vintage JLC Chrono, and came a Rolex 5508... But it may not be the last one... Your Tissot Navigator is a pure marvel, my friend. To be followed. Best, Nicolas

I already "screwed up" again.... look at this UG

I can believe this only because.....

 By: MiniCooper : December 15th, 2009-09:57

When I bought my JLC Master Perpetual back in September I told myself I was done. Yesterday I saw this in the case at a local store. This morning I went back and bought it. I'm not generaly interested in quartz watches, but this is one of the exceptions. ...

Looking forward to have it on my wrist for the New Year
