I completely agree. Love how it can drastically change the style of a watch. Especially when done on a PM piece like you did with the ALS.

I now have a new (to me) 7097. What a beautiful watch! I definitely need to change the strap though. Far too formal for my tastes. I’ve ordered a few nubuck and suede straps, and have a custom leather one I was going to put it on in the meantime. Now here lies the issue. I knew about the set screws

I’m considering the white gold version of this OpenFace. Seems like it will be awesome on various straps, including casual ones, which is what I’m looking for. Are you still enjoying yours? Did you order it from the AD or PF directly? That’s been my frustration with my PF Chrono. Really wish it had micro adjustments.

Did you have any issues with the small set screw? I’ve read that it’s a nightmare.
