as MW mentioned the crown on the 233 does not stop, however with the power reserve indicator you can tell when the watch is fully wound. that completely makes sense. I actually just called my brother who has a 233 as well. He said he usually winds his 233 approximately 180 or so times. So, I guess it really is nearer your results. I am curious now, I can't wait until this runs down in the next couple of days to give it another shot.
