Vacheron Constantin: No worries. Not always easy to distinguish what is what from online pictures.

Appreciate everyone's input. I am new to this forum but I've been reading through several other posts and the level of knowledge shared is impressive. A great way to learn and share!

Vacheron Constantin: Thanks for the input

What imperfection do you see specifically? Actually, the more I compare this watch to other pictures from the same reference the more confused I am. Almost impossible to find two that are exactly the same exact font.

Vacheron Constantin: The case number is not visible unfortunately.

Any reason why the seller would hide it?

Vacheron Constantin: Would you have any insights on the fonts printed on the dial?

I see some references with a sans serif font some with serif like reference I'm posting here. I'm wondering if the font is correct on this watch. Many thanks!

Vacheron Constantin: Here are some additonal pictures

So it is the caliber 453/3BW with double Geneva seal and 18 jewels. From what I could read, the serial number (569XXX) should be from between 1965 and 1970. Buckle seems to be solid 18K gold. Appreciate your thoughts.

Vacheron Constantin: I think the case is unpolished. The edges are sharp and strong and even shows some oxidation marks which is good sign for unpolished. The dial have more doubts, it's difficult to go through that many years and still be that clean...

But as you say, even it has been clean up a little but is original I can definitely enjoy it. As for the size I think this one is 34-35mm which I totally fine with. It is actually what I'm looking for.
