If u have to chose between the two, then in my mind the choice is very obvious. It must be the Patek 5070 PT. But The watch is no longer in production . U can still get hold of the VC. Not a choice of many collectors if u should notice. Henry Hoe
I have the 5130s and they are indeed iconic Patek. U actually see the major world cities all at a glance. Except for Patek , Lange and the JLC (master geographic) I dont think other major brands have this feature. Rolex n Panerai have the GMTs but they don t show u the other major cities. I would go
The PP5970 or the PP3970 is not a practical watch for everyday usage. It is manual winding and for watch lovers of this range the likilihood is that u have many other watches in your collection that u would want to rotate. Appears that u are very indecisive as to what u want. The watches that u mentioned are of different categories and price range. N by the way if u think that the 5170 is going to fall to one tenth of the price u wouldn't be thinking of buying such a watch would u? Bec if it does then it is not a Pate
