5196 sub dial

The relatively larger sub-dial, as seen on the earlier version is more classic. But there is something appealing about the way the sub-dial on the modern version does not interfere with the numbers. Looks more discrete.

My favourite Patek dial has always been the three-colour breguet numerals Calatrava dial. I was under the impression they hadn't been made in ~60 years, but I have very little knowledge of Patek to know better. I saw one today as I was passing by a jewele...

because the PC215 is so small relative to the case. This is the reason this reference comes with a solid back. With the back off you really see that size does matter in this instance. A pitifully small movement for the case. There are so many watches out ...
