the old model ss patek and get a 5711 or 5980 and also buy the 5130 im sure you will end up with both as you say u love them both with watches you cant help it really

..what I'll get from the aquanaut will not help much for a 5980 (which I think is wonderful), although the plain Nautilus might do the job. I see your point in having one sport and two complications pp. thx.

sold the aquanaut

and got an AP RO ss chrono, beautiful. My intention is to have two PP, as I said the annual calendar already in my collection and now maybe I will be more tempted to get the Nautilus, since I don't have my Aquanaut, but still cannot stop thinking about th...

Difficult to comment, as it is a matter of taste

But personally, I'd go on the 5712 in SS, conform to the spirit of this elegant Sport Watch, and I don't like the straps and the system to fix it on the Gold versions. I'd also go on the 5130 G rather than on the R, but once again, it is very personnal. T...

The bracelet of the Nautilus series is just so comfortable to wear, but the 5130G is a close second. Then maybe move the Aquanaut later for a 5130? Have fun hunting!

Would prefer the 5130G...

Hi Cl, I would go for the 5130G or even better the Platinum version! Forget the Nautilus - this is no PatekĀ  sensu stricto - just a sports watch and not worth collecting - just a daily wearer... But the WT will last "classic" for a lifetime and even more ...

Difficult choice...

I own a 5110P and a 5712/1A. Both are great watches and I love both. The choice will really depend on your own preference and needs.

Thank you! still hv not decided..

.. what I know is that I will get another PP! 40 years come only once! So basically: - if Nautilus better go for the ss or 5712/1A rather than the gold versions, and - if Worldtime, better white gold or platinum (although budget for Pt will limit me a bit...

I love Nautilus ...

 By: Hamster07 : June 22nd, 2009-21:26
but if I were to "own" one Patek (or to look after one for my next generation), I'd choose 5110P. You can't keep your eyes off your wrist when you're wearing one. Compare:...

All 5712 are really ugly!

The dail looks so imbalanced with 2 circles randomly thrown at it - stick with the 5711.
