I just got a 5165 last week, I have a 7.5" wrist and it fits quite nicely, I do have some smaller watches as well that also look good, so I don't think you could go wrong eitehr way, but IMO the dial and strap design of the 'new' aquanaut is much more appealing that the previous version.

what are the recommendations of an aquanaut for a 6.5" mans wrist with reasonably large hand - the older mid-sized 5066a or the larger 5065/5165 (both which seem to be about the same size from what i can gather). any input appreciated.
