Usually, the rarer a watch the more expensive it gets. Although I have not heared that the 5396 is disontinued, I would buy it as long as it is available - especially if I liked it ...

Hello, I am planning on buying the 5396g with double in-line aperture display which I read this morning just got discontinued .I then checked the Patek website and it was not there .I was planning on buying in the summer because I just bought a 5712 last ...

Many of the questions you have asked advice for simply cannot be answered now and the answers you need to make your decision would be based on someone else's opinion of what may or may not happen to affect the purchase price, availability, or its future v... 

If you prefer the "older" style dial over the newer...........

And imo cleaner looking dial, I would look to purchase one sooner rather then later. Although I have no doubt that there are still some of these pieces in Geneva waiting to be dispatched to AD's wordwide, these pieces will dry up.
