It wouldn't be very logical of Patek to do that. There is a great demand for the watch. It is patek's totally self developed chronograph with annual calendar. The 5970 and 5070 with Lemania ebauche are running on it's last feet (last year of production) from an availabilty perspective. I sincerely hope that Patek will be able to come with a pink gold version, although it isn't likely as Patek isn't able to deliver the 5960P due to the great demand.

On the 5960P, what time of day does the white dot shift to blue and then back to white? Mine seems to switch to blue at around 8-9pm and then back at 8-9am. This seems to be independent of the time of year. Is this normal ? Thanks.

It is independent of the time of year. It is just AM/PM indicator... nothing related to the sunrise/sunset time (or something like that)
