What should I choose? I do love both ... ... but only one can ... ...

I went thru the same situation and I decided to order 5960P, as I compare both side by side I tend to like 5960P more. good luck to you

My vote goes to 5960P as its production is going to stop (overheard from other forums). Quite believable as 5960R has appeared. Though 5960R looks warm and is more eye catching, platinum feels more solid on the wrist. The difference is appreciable. Beside...

definitely, without any form of hesitation...

the 5960P While it may seem rackish and and uncharacteristically futuristic for a Patek, this watch is going to be a classic that represents the time in which we live. Buy it and do not look back, you won't regret it. This message has been edited by nothi...

Ruthenium dial, 1st automatic in house Chrono movement, platinum case, and most important of all: A lovely watch, much better in life than in pics... But, as always, go on which of these 2 sings louder to your ears... Best, Nicolas

Good question. Both great watches.

I would probably take 5159G. Really like the retrograde perpetual, and not as much a fan of the annual calendar, especially in the style presented on 5960. That said, of course the 5960 adds the chrono (which happens to be my favorite complication). Nice ...

I would choose...

You should consider the complications.

Because they are two very different watches. Which complications do you prefer ? QP ? Or QA + chronograph ? In that case, I would go the 5960 because it's a very original watch and because the chronograph will complete perfectly your 5712. The 5159 is als...

something to consider

If your budget will only allow a 5960P or a 5159, if you can sell another watch to make up the additional funds, you may be able to get a 5970. Then, you'd have the perpetual calendar of the 5159 and the chronograph of the 5960P. The 5960's movement will ...

Eric, who cares what will be 'more cillectable'
