i could be wrong but it looks pretty clear from the pictures that the bracelet is detachable. I owned a 5146 on bracelet and that bracelet was detachable, of course i am going only off pictures and have never seen the watch in person. Are you sure the pins on the bracelet are not to take it off?

5960/1a availability?

Based on past experience, when will the new 5960/1A be available to purchase? I like the watch but don't like the metal bracelet. Will it be possible to use a strap instead of the metal bracelet? Thanks in advance for any responses. Anthony

You are right!

I would love to see this on a leatherstrap, too! But if you want, you can change it, but there is no steel buckle existing, only whitegold...

Great! White gold is close enough for the buckle....

the bracelet is detachable and another strap will easily go on. this is just purely speculation but normally basel pieces start to roll out around oct of that year in my past experience

if its anything like the nautilus cases.....

a strap will not fit this case.

No, it is not possible - steel bracelet only. In case you are interested in more details about the watch, please see here: Cheers, Oliver

and you'll see it's exactly the same problem than the 5711/1A which is not possible to change the steel strap by a leather one

I am sure ...
