Patek WT

Are superb in general. I love 5110P and both of the 5131s. The current 5130 are also very nice.

The legibility is no problem for me except the anniversary WT, with the 7175 better than 5575.

I'm a huge fan of the patek WT, make no mistake!

Regards

Tom

Some pictures of the 5131G.

Since it was unveiled, some years ago ( 2009 ?, I can't remember ), I never had the opportunity to see one in the flesh. It is not a secret that I am a big fan of world timers, and especially of the Patek World Times, with a preference for the 5110, which...

It is a "charmer"

But in real life not easy to read. Furthermore, it is pretty much "jewellery-like". After a lot of consideration, my favourite remains 5110P. It's the travelling watch I wear on regular basis. Best, Kari

But should we put the Anniversary version

in between? However, also this version seems to have problems with readability. Best, Kari

I will come back to that one, as I had the possibility to try it.

To kill any suspense, I would say that 5110 P is my first, 5131G my second, and the 5575G the third. Best, Nicolas

It is growing on me more and more....

....though I suspect it will become yet another that I admire from a distance. Damn speculation. The waiting list for these is now closed with last delivery scheduled in 2021 I think.

A pity.... [nt]

....but looking on the brighter side.....

 By: Baron - Mr Red : December 1st, 2014-03:09
.....that makes me more likely to err for the 5110P to add to my G....a perfect white metal pairing. I am disinclined to go for all 4...... but a pair....uhm, that would be possible. Much to plan for 2015.......

Of course.....

....i am a much bigger fan of the 5575G than you..... LoL

I will give my 2 cents....

 By: Baron - Mr Red : December 1st, 2014-04:22
.....the 5975 and 5575....all of them in my view have something which I love. That is, on the wrist, they look absolutely fantastic. I appreciate that there are horological issues at play too regarding movement size, legibility, usefulness of functions et...

This a great iconic watch indeed with a nice 240 (that you'll possess x2) They are not the same watches but I may be thinking you would also go for a Duometre UTC ? Indeed, nice to keep thinking about hunting such a watch. Cheers, Mark

Nicolas- you have opened my eyes to the 5110. Its really beautiful. Although I am also seduced with the Patek 5131 with enamel dial. But the prices are too strong and although I am sure it will become a future classic (it if is not already) I think for th...

....if there was one thing that irritated me about the 5131....yes, it is the writing of Geneve at the bottom of the dial. It is irritating for me.

exactly.....

The dial is, indeed, very very nice.

It is not perfect when magnifying it. I like the watch a lot as a "curiosity". However, in real life is is a bit difficult to use because it is pretty jewellery-like. Best, Kari

You know my sweet spot for the 5110P as well, and I agree with you that the 5131G is not bad either ;-) Many thanks for these nice pics, and many thanks also to the lucky owner of this beautiful timepiece who gave you the chance to share it with us. Best,...

Thanks, Mike. I will put some pictures of the J soon, as well as the 5575.

Very nice pics Waiting for the J And 5575

I much prefer the 5131J...

The problem of the 5131G is that I find the hands too white... Thanks for the pics! Fx

Well, to each his own. I quite love the relative coldness of the G.

 By: amanico : December 1st, 2014-12:58
But I am not a big fan of colored gold. AND, second but, the J is quite cool, I must admit. Best, Nicolas

Nicolas! What can I say about this post? You know well...
