pp 5146 strap vs bracelet
hi i have a5146 1j that is with the bracelet in yellow gold i use thia watch every day i have had it for 4 years all i do is cleaning it occ with moist soft cloth it looks very good all the time. it has some scratches but the weave is such that you cannot tell. i agree is alot higher in price but i really enjoy the bracelet. to me is more classical dress watch. it seems that they harder to get. i have talked to some ad's that say that patek does not make as many with the bracelet. in the 4 years i have had mine i have not seen any other person with a similar one. according to stern in new york they have a special way to refinished the gold if it was necessary.

I would also go for the strap. The bracelet is quite nice
