As usual, everybody has it's own...

I think the sector is way more distinctive than any other plain dial...

Patek 5296g or 5296r and Sector dial vs plain

So I know this question has been asked before but not in recent years. Which is more preferred 5296g or 5296r and do you folks prefer sector dial vs plain ? Pictures are appreciated.

Do you like more RG or WG?

I like more white than red but it proves nothing . I have now 8 Pateks made of white metal but my next will be the first "R". I have my own reasons for that and when getting expensive watches I am very selfish: only my own taste and and own reasons count....

Like Kari, I tend to lean towards W/G............

But I do find R/G gives that warmer and perhaps more classic look. So in that case I would have to see both metals side by side. Regarding the decision between sector or plain. I am far more clear cut PLAIN and that is purely down to my own personal taste...

I went with RG, non-sector dial

The opaline dial with applied markers is too beautiful to be called "plain"...

Thanks for responses

I appreciate everyone's input I'm leaning between the white gold sector and rose gold plain. Those combinations seem to be my favorite.
