for your comments. I agree with you that a grand complication is much more interesting. And about the AD, I checked earlier his comment about delivery time of 5960P (he said 2012 i would get it), after asking Geneva Salon they told me it would be 1,5 years, that says enough about the AD. Enough AD's around and probably i will go to one of the Salons. Now for me a matter of being patient (raising funds) for the 5040R. Do you think it probably will get a bigger case like most ''old'' models ?

After having the 5040 (with breguet style numerals) and the 5396 on my wrist a couple of weeks ago, I am doubting my earlier decision to go for the 5396 since then. They are totally different in style (imho). I do have a large wrist, but the amazing thing...

Hi, My personal choice, so it may not be yours, would be to go for the 5040R over the 5396! I love the 5396, but a perpetual calendar is more fascinating. The calibre 240 is also IMO more interesting than the 324. Finally I love the 5040 case. I like it a...

Totally. I don't think a black dial with a RG case has ever been produced. It'd been a super nice combination and surely I'd order one in that case. My personal preference would be: black dial w/ white case > silver dail w/ rose case > silver dial w/ whit... 

Why 240 more interesting caliber than 324?
