The 5270 looks stunning, but I will still hold on to my 5970. :-) [nt]

larger font

I am truly sorry but I just do not care for the larger font on the newer models. It is just tacky to me. I would opt for a traditional font piece anytime I am paying for the watch.

17-15

but, one great improvement over the 5970G is the 17-15 not longer block out the timing dials. Bravo there, Patek!

I think 5270 is my fav....

hard to imagine myself saying this.... but I have been looking at this new model several time and I must say I'm very impressed. The only down side is the size but then the design may actually suit the size. *CL

Seeing them side by side makes me prefer the 5970.

The dial of the 5970 is speaking louder to me. Curiously, the movement, too. Best, Nicolas.

I have never thought these watches

but looking them side-by-side 5270 without any hesitation. The dial is so amazingly clear and readable taking into account the complications. Thanks, Kari

Those are just fantastic!!!!
