"Holding it's value" is a characteristic that pales in comparison to "what matches" the things in her waredrobe for my wife?

I will not buy a watch using batteries, especially in this price range. Furthermore, Nautilus is a sporting watch so steel is a better material than gold. Dress watches in gold are another issue and in my opinion Breguet's Reine de Naples is very hard to ...

Very seldom there are perfect solutions. In the case of female Nautilus, one has to choose between diamonds and a quartz movement. For me diamonds are not as bad as a quartz movement. In one interview Thierry Stern opened the future a bit and admitted tha...

There's no question in my mind that the mechanical watch is superior. I asked my wife (who has an array of different Patek's), however, and she couldn't care less about the mechanical movement. Indeed, she would rather have a quartz timepiece because wind...

... spend the extra money to get the 7010/1 G with the diamond bezel. Diamonds, Precious Metal and the Ease of a Quartz Movement far out weigh the beuaty that you and I might appreciate in a Patek Mechanical watch. Sorry.
