The joy of traveling...

Long airplane journeys is not always fun. A good book, a good movie, a good conversation, a good bit of sleep and daydreaming all helps those hours go by. In all those in between moments having something to glance at that makes you smile is priceless. A watch can mean so many different things to everyone. To some it is a practical gadget and to others a statement of sorts. To me probably all of the above and then a lot more that would require a long essay.

Glancing at this beauty certainly sparked some daydreaming and smiles while enjoying the journey!

Even just a few glances at the watch could deliver a great deal of comfort and ease on a long flight, which is something I hardly enjoy.

Does help us cope with travels better. I do the same. When I am traveling and when bored, jetlagged or I need to relieve stress of business meetings, my watch helps me very well to cope. As you said, they do put smiles on our faces :) Cheers and safe trav...

So nicely put....

such a beauty. May I ask if you had some active time wearing your 5712 before the flight ? Unlike other Pateks, one that is a "Petite complication" such as this is actually more than a watch. Thanks for sharing.

you are right it is a marvel to look at and yes

have had the fortune to own this for a bit of time now. Must say this is the most versatile and wearable watch I have owned to date. Amazing dial and incredibly comfortable.

Yes. The useful complication ....

Date , moonphase and esp the PR complication makes it wearable. Speaking about PR, I noticed the PR needle swings beyond the 48 hour point. Is that normal ? Mine never swings beyond that point although there are some small white dots indicator beyond 48 h...

turbo charged

 By: keks : August 8th, 2014-06:13
find my PR is always past the 48hr mark when on the wrist. I must have a turbo charged one! Supposed should take it off the wrist and measure how long it takes for it to get to the 48hr mark…

Nice way ....
