PP 3700/1 Bracelet

Feb 24, 2015,08:44 AM

Hello everyone,
I really hope that you will be able to help me on this one....

I am the happy owner of a 3700/1. However I have lost the little Patek logo and I am not able to find one.
Can anyone advice me where I could find it? I called the Salon in Geneva but they were not willing to help much sad

I have attached a couple of photos but also a photo that I took online that shows how the missing piece looks like.

Looking forward to your kind reply ! smile

Julien

I would send the watch for a full service through Geneva Salon. I know from experience that in the service they are even making new parts if there are no spare parts. Nautilus 3700 is such a nice watch that a full overhaul is in my opinion a good idea. Be...

..... don't polish the case. Good chance patek will have spare. Either the logo itself of a replacement clasp.

last questions... PP 3700

1) How many 3700 were actually produced? Do we have any relevant information? 2) Some people say that I should have it polished other say not to touch it? What should it do? Should PP take the decision? I will definitely leave it to PP salon in Geneva to ...

polish or not polish

do not polish it because (small) digs & scratches are part of the watch history (especially if you have it for a long time) the watch has evolved at your side and reflect this happy times. it is now its characters. but if you like flawless watch do it...

my views ...

....... I really don't know how much you know about your patek 3700, but one of the most attractive aspect of a nautilus is the octagon shape of the bezel, those lines ONCE polished most certainly will be smoothen out, I guarantee that. base on the pictur...

Give a 3700 to the official assistance. There are serious risks to have a lot of original details gone lost. The dial, for example, could be substituted without request (as they have done always in decades), so the winding crown and the clasp. Regards

Only my opinion

It is extremely difficult finding a bracelet or bracelet parts for a Nautilus 3700. In all likelyhood the old clasp will need to be replaced with the newer butterfly clasp.

I doubt very seriously if you will find what you want anywhere

else other than from Patek themselves. I would send the watch to them with your instructions regarding a full service and what you would want to have done to the case, bracelet, and clasp. I'm sure they will address your wishes with an appropriate estimat...
