Patek World Timers - what to add?

 By: EDJA : October 7th, 2014-00:25
Gents, as you know i am a big fan of Patek World Timers. Ideally i want all of them but its out of the budget What would be your recommendation to add to my small collection of two? So we have 5130R 5131G Next?

Definitely, without any hesitation, the first modern one, in platinum.

The 5110P. That is such a jewel! And you will have three different WT, in three different metals. With three different characters. That would be awesome! As a WT fan, I have to congratulate you to do such a journey. Best, Nicolas ...

+1 [nt]

I must agree with Nico.

Here's mine: After some consideration I must admit that this is my #1 World Timer. Best, Kari ...

i do expect that it would be hard to find brand new 5110P

 By: EDJA : October 7th, 2014-01:54
what is your opinion about 5130P?

It might be hard

 By: dr.kol : October 7th, 2014-02:21
but I know from where to get a new-like 5110P with box and open papers. And quite cheap... After a full service done by Patek, any 5110 in normal condition is just like new. These watches are made of platinum and most probably they have not been on the wr...

Kari Thank you!!!

could you please PM me the place where i can get it?

PM sent.

If you decide to deal with them, you can also return the watch without problem. I have bought at least 10 valuable watches and have never been unsatisfied. Best, Kari

Got it! Thank you Kari!

Hi Edward, with 5130 and 5131G, you have a solid foundation to add...

... the 5110 which provides a good balance to your expanding WT collection and it is an easier one to hunt down... and at the same time also pursue the 5131J which is more difficult and if successfully provides the cherry on top of the collection!! Enjoy ...

Controversial.......

Bavarian flag pattern on the dial is indeed very nice !! Any other limited editions for 5130 ??

Sorry, but I much prefer the clean and pure beauty of a non LE like the 5110P.

 By: amanico : October 7th, 2014-20:57
Mecca, Jérusalem, Dubai, now China.... The true LE is the Munich. The dial is deeply different, not just a change of color with a different name of the town. It is just not my taste, but at least it is different. But none of them can compete, IMO, with th...

you start again and go for the 5130/1 versions aka gold bracelet versions, the centered dial colors are different from the strap versions.... Start adding a 5110P that will do nicely. I am not into world timers but that's a nice collecting theme. Happy hu...

great snapshots of this pure beauty. Based on my personal feelings and the pictures that you kindly shared i think it number one candidate! The question is - what was the last year of 5110P production? 2006?

5130g with white gold bracelet

 By: Bruno.M1 : October 8th, 2014-11:50
Not a fan of the white gold bracelet but the black inner dial is pretty nkce and makes the watch unique. you won't see them often the previous platinum is nice bur 37mm is no go for me.

You seems to prefer 39,5mm size

 By: patrickh : October 9th, 2014-10:07
I could suggest to stay in the same size with 5131J or as suggested 5130/1G. Whatever your final decision, a great model to complete your WT collection. BRs, patrickh
