A classic watch..

Yes too share the same views on the dial and the ref.I prefer the variant with Anti Magnetic on the dial though. It was the first non-design (on which my collection is based) centric vintage Patek that attracted me,

Another one in the same vein is the rarer s the 2570/1 anti magnetic with the 12-400 movement from 1958 to 1960 then 27-400 movement from 1960.It came with markers and without markers on the dial and in YG only.I was fortunate to see one last month and it had a brushed and polished gold service and was very beautiful and a rare piece.

I have a 3417 SS too...it came back from a service from Patek 2 weeks ago but with rain outside an hour after the watch was collected condensation was forming on the crystal so it went back to Patek the next day!Another long wait....

... like to have a modern variant, say 38-39 mm. I like how the dial is formed. This is subtly a very very nice design. Perhaps Patek will announce something like this at Basel 2011. I can always hope. Ciao. This message has been edited by NoMilkToday on ...

I am glad to see these photos of this remarkable PP. She continues to look in such fantastic condition for a 50-year old. I hope I look that good when I turn 50. Not likely, I'm afraid. I am surprised we do not hear more of the 3417 on teh forum, but the ...

Thank You

Thank You, respo, It would be nice if you will try to translate my review into English. Marco

My apologies

Marco, I am afraid my command of Italian is virtually non-existent, so I cannot do the translation. I struggle to translate bits and pieces for myself, but I could not do justice in a translation for anyone else. There are some photosgraphs of English tex...
