2015 will be divided between these four. I want to learn to know which one is my #1, #2, #3 and #4. At the moment I do not have the slightest idea. Best, Kari

I'll go with the 5712. Kari, have you tried the 5712 on a black trap? A friend of mine wears his on leather and it's amaaazing.

15202 is my choice

 By: rnaden : February 9th, 2015-07:26
I much prefer the date on the same background color as the dial as it doesn't upset the balance as much. The two on the right, while great in their own right would pose a challenge to the eyes in deciphering the date and other information conveyed. Great ...

It's funny, when I replaced that with 5711, Nautilus felt so much slimmer and lighter. And when I got home, I measured the same. Indeed, Royal Oak is a bit slimmer but feels much 's funny how much the design can influence. Best, Kari

I also thought that having all four is the only way to go. Then I started to think that having all six is the way to go. And today I got an interesting offer which is pushing me to think "having all 8 is the only way to go". But if AP is coming with a man...

 By: matthewking : February 9th, 2015-06:53
Hi Dr Kol, All else held equal, I'll go with the 5711. I'm torn on whether or not I like how PP kept the white date wheel. AP changing and PP keeping the same kind of embodies a tiny bit of the two brands' DNA. For me, the 5402A > 3700, but the 5711 &g...

 By: Hamster07 : February 9th, 2015-08:37
As a PP fan, I face less of a dilemma coz AP's not on my list. Then it becomes easy, 3712 is my choice. Like the original case design, like the dial layout, like the practical functions, though the time-only 5711 is always a good-to-have, and in my ways e...

I must admit that I do not understand 5711P. A sporting watch made of platinum? It's a very soft material, heavy and expensive. However, the dial colour of 5711P is wonderful. Best, Kari

that so many people prefer 5711 over 15202. If it would be a matter of design, I understand. But in my opinion it is hard to claim that the non-hacking Patek 324 movement would be somehow better than the RO movement. Also RO is much more loyal to the orig...
