Not part of my collection (unfortunately)…

But, I had the opportunity to try these on at WOS in Las Vegas at the Wynn.
The 3800 is just perfect. Wow. I love the patina on the dial and the fact that there’s no seconds hand. It also feels bigger than the 37.5mm. Asking 170k.
I always admired the 3970. I love the heritage and the pump pushers. But it felt a bit smaller than the 36mm size. I also felt the thickness was more than I expected and was out of proportion to the size. And perhaps I’m getting old but it was hard to tell time … 🙈. But… it’s so beautiful up close. Asking 150k.

The members of this blog know more than the salesperson (and clearly me as well).

I tried a 5970 and 5270 before.

I think I prefer those.

5270p salmon is out of this world.

bought these two ! 😃 Definitely 3700 because if it was the 3800, it will be sitting there for a long long time at the price quoted 🤣 The nickname for 3970 is mini “hamburger” 🍔 for the specific reason you mentioned on thickness. It is a wonderful piece. G...
