Thank you for the fair report...and few additional comments.

Cons:
1. Adding a metal back cover makes the piece needlessly heavier, for those who do not like heavy watches.
2. As mentioned before, continuation of the overlapping leap year indicator with date problem associated with the scale-up of the perpetual calendar/retrograde movement is a big disappointment. For the 5159 and 5496 I can understand that PP wants to cut corners by applying the same 324 movement to larger cases, although the movement was originally designed for the 5050 case size of 36-37 mm. Event then, I will not consider neither 5159 or 5496.
But for the 5213 ???
For the kind of msrp 5213 requires, I would have expected a flawless execution of the dial with no overlaps, period.
This persistent issue obviously indicates that PP has no problem selling their watches to NEW customers, who have not developed yet the critical eye for perfection. In addition and unfortunately for this forum members, current enthusiasts seem to have no effect on PP.
I never understood business models that tamper with perfection.
To me Porsche 911 represents an excellent business model. It has been an outstanding sports car, that is evolving every year and winning new customers while keeping the old ones equally happy.
Cheers
