Hi to the Aussie Purists.....it seems that we are thin...

Hi to the Aussie Purists.....it seems that we are thin on the ground ......but still... there are a few of us around.
It would be nice to organize a weekend or dinner function sometime ... but we all know distance is a massive problem.
I might make a suggestion that we keep our ears open for any Horological event that might provide an excuse to catch up.
What... I do not know what....I know that my AD has just moved to new premises and mentioned that they are having an opening Cocktail evening when things settle down.....without being too presumptuous I am sure he would welcome a few extra enthusiasts and so a Gold Coast weekend might be a start.
Please let me know if you have any similar thoughts.
Kindest regards,
Jack

In any case, we Aussies never count our tinnies before they're hatched. Aussie Purists hiding in China? That would be, er, me I think. Cheers Tony P
