The Grande Complication is for sure an achievement, and seeing a Grande Sonnerie for Patek is the main event.

That said, this 5275 is very interesting, The caliber has Jumping hour, jumping Minute, dead seconds and hour repeating in a a relatively thin caliber for such complications asking some energy. Again Patek masters proportions and energy in an interesting new caliber. I'm curious to see what will come later on this basis.

cheers

François

QP...and so much more!!!

Surely not my price category, but very pleased. The QP I am very exited about too: a la 3449 that would be something. Moritz

Sounds hot! [nt]

It is not a repeater ... another twist like the anniversary chrono

By: COUNT DE MONET : October 15th, 2014-07:05
Hi Francois, this 5275 is a chiming watch, strikes the full hour "only". Like Lange's Zeitwerk Striking Time, but only one "ding" per full hour. As you are saying: a perfectly proportioned complicated and pretty, pretty watch! Like the anniversary chrono ...

Thanks for the correction

 By: cisco : October 15th, 2014-08:18
I know, I should have written striking hour and not repeating, my mistake. To be honest, if the design is very nice and the engraving nicely put on the side, I find the case a bit large. However like the 5204 before , Patek masters complications in a size...

Yes, the date repeater

To see this in a QP would be something. Best Moritz

watching the videos...

 By: mjnoumoff : October 13th, 2014-16:24
1. Patek spelled 'turning' incorrectly in their video! 2. the watch is a SUPER TRAVELER'S watch. between the second timezone hand in the front and 24 hour clock on the back, along with an alarm function, it seems built for the top 6 watch collector travel...

Did you order yours already?

Best, Kari

New case, obviously. Have to see it in the real.

 By: amanico : October 14th, 2014-02:58
Love the hands, especially the hour hand. For the moonphase and the case and these lyre lugs, I have to see the whole Watch in the real. Before any final judgement. Best, Nicolas

Actually in Geneva for the event

5575 is a nice piece but hard to read with the hands ...

The hour hand looks like from Star Track borrowed

By: COUNT DE MONET : October 14th, 2014-05:46
But it gives with the permanent presence of the stars on the dal a very "stellar" and "astronomical" look to the watch. Same the "flowing" case. It seems to have a chamfered case also which I prefer over a simple round bezel. The "true" picture of the moo...

Modern moon phase is a big shift towards a more modern design

The subtle changes in the case design are also really nice. I like it apparently this edition is not too limited (1300 pieces) in the price range of PP regulator... Best, S.

Chiming and jumping

It may sound as blasphemy regarding responses so far to 175 anniv collection but I like 5275P most Patek's tour de force masterpiece with 20 complications is great no doubt but case is too much for me Less ornate would be better Sincerely Damjan
