Just when thru a similar decision recently...

Hi DJE,
Sorry for the late reply. I have personally gone through a similar decision recently.
My final choice has very much to do with how much I'm into "retro". Short of buying a vintage, the 15202 is the only watch still in production that is still true to the original 3 famous watch designed by Gerald Genta: PP Nautilus, AP Royal Oak & VC Offshore. All 3 started in 1970s and all using the same JLC 920 movement. The current Nautilus introduced a second hand and now using PP's in house cal 324. The Oversea is a long way from its original design. While the 15202 still has an almost identical design, size and still using the JLC based cal 2121. An AP watch with PP's Gyromax balance wheel on an ultra-thin, unique JLC calibre. How much more special can it get?
I have gone with the 15202 and enjoyed every minute wearing it. The watch looks big but sits comfortably on my thin wrist and under my shirt cuffs. Very versatile. My only complain is with the bracelet which is not as comfortable as the Nautilus.
But reading your post, I'm afraid the only cure for you is to buy the 5711, your heart is definitely leaning towards it...
