Anyone on the subject of boxes, most brands utilise boxes that are made in China at very low cost, even the impressive glossy wood veneer boxes; I do not know where Patek gets its boxes though. One notable exception is Lange, their boxes are made in Germany (or Switzerland) and feature a wood frame and base, covered in hand-stitched leather.
