It would be an understatement to say that I had been interested in an aquanaut for a long time. Beginning with a strong affliction for the 5065, it was love at first sight with the first pictures I saw of the 5165 and 5167. I had been searching for the watch for almost nine months and foolishly wanted to see it "in person" before actually making the big decision. Perhaps as a chance of fate, I walked into an AD in Miami a few weeks ago and sitting in the showcase was the 5165. I was so excited to finally see the watch that I decided waiting almost a year was certainly long enough. The night I purchased the watch, I logged on to the PuristS and have been enjoying the commentary ever since. As a student, I am worried that I have been spending too much time reading through the forums and not enough time in the library. I may need to make some changes. Nonetheless, the watch is everything I knew it would be. I hope this is just the beginning of a life of collecting and I feel very luck to have the opportunity to enjoy such a wonderful timepiece.
