Too many odd balls...

Small 27's and 5's on date wheels and double chins make one scratch their head. However the technology of the new watches are superb. I own the 3970, 5970 and 5270 series one dial. The 5270 blowes the old stuff away technically. Same goes with the 5204 vs 5004. It looks like they are trying to do better cosmetically. Just look how much better the dial of the 5271 is compared to 5270 series two white and blue double chin. I know for a fact they have been getting a lot of really bad feedback. This has a lot to do with who is cosmetically designing the watches today. I will stop there

This is a spectacular watch. No chin or shrinkage and the dial changes colors with different light

I hate to bring up the trite car comparison, but it is a little like a "classic" vs modern car. The modern car is vastly superior to the classic in almost every category (safety, speed, efficiency, reliability, ergonomics, technology etc etc)....but some ...

dug up on the 5270G. I like the original dial better. It being discontinued will instantly make the org 5270 more wanted ? On the other hand, oddballs are also collectible, don't they ?

I like the version 1

Only time will tell.. I vote for the version 1 to be the collectible one for now
