May I ask from whom you got this information? Oliver

I also said the 5270 will 'change' I don' have moreinfo about the 5270 but it could be it is only the dial. And in that case it might look like the 5270 in the other thread. The so called limited edition. Maybe it is not a LE but the new 5270.

Possibly a new self-winding chrono caliber for 2014?

 By: jon_jon : October 10th, 2013-18:59
I wouldn't be surprised at the 5960 and 5980 being discontinued. Perhaps Patek will be introducing a new self-winding chronograph caliber to replace the CH 28-520 that has been in use in the 5960/5980. As for the 5270G being discontinued, will they come o...

"new self-winding chrono caliber"

I have my doubts on this as there is no reason to change the current one and all the (minor) issues they had in the beginning are solved. Never change a winning team ... just the style, the case ... :-) Oliver

5712

 By: cmclee : October 12th, 2013-02:13
I wonder when will they discontinue the 5712s in all metals ? They have been running it for quite some time as far as I can remember !

The steel 5712 is only offered with blue dial. Not white nor black.

 By: Haagen : October 12th, 2013-23:38
Which is a bit odd, right? I mean 5711 and 5980 is offered with three dial alternatives, 5726 with two and even with strap as well as bracelet option. Lots of choice on that shelf. The 5712 is a lone wolf in that pack offering only the blue dial. So in th...

That's a pitty! I hope the prices of 5980 don't go up now

 By: DavidV : October 19th, 2013-02:47
since that's on my wishlist...

Cofirmed!

AD called HSWA and confirmed discontinuation of these models, but unable to comment on any replacements. May the fun begin with this news.
