cal. 27-sc is definetely handwound - the seller is wrong in this regard. As far as I know it's correct information that ref. 3411 is equipped with cal 27-SC though.

Patek didn't make awhole lot of manual wind center second movement, and I was told here that the total for this 27SC was somewhere between 10-12K watches (not alot). Anyhow, I like my watch very much, and it's tough to find a vintage Patek with center sec...

Hi Constantine, as you already mentioned there is a cal. 27sc pictured in the forum header. This movement production started in 1949 (IIRC) and with it's directly driven center sweep second actually was a relatively "modern" design (indirectly driven layo...

I am a not an experienced collector but I am considering purchasing a PP Ref 3411 calibre 27SC (or 27SG??). The shop told me it is an AUTOMATIC, however I note that you advise cal. 27SC is a MANUAL wind?? I am confused. Which is correct? Gary
