Hi Constantine,
as you already mentioned there is a cal. 27sc pictured in the forum header. This movement production started in 1949 (IIRC) and with it's directly driven center sweep second actually was a relatively "modern" design (indirectly driven layouts beeing the more common design at that time). As could be expected from a manufacture like PP, it's execution is very nice and incorporates an elaborate technical solution for fourth wheel (center sweep seconds wheel) bearing in jewels, which isn't that easy as it has to pass through the center wheel arbor/pinnion.
Overall this is a wonderfull movement which I like a lot - the movement IMO is perfect for an "every day watch"
Ref. 3411 is a classical "three part" push back case - a ery nice and classical timepiece. As with all three part push back watches, it should be noted that you can't expect any sort of waterproof properties and even "dustproof" can bean issue due to case condition. This may be something to consider when speaking of an "every day watch" ! If you're living in an area with considerable high humidity or hot temperatures you should be aware of this and constant care should be taken of the case/movement dial.....(i.e. if humidity, dust ....already entered?). Personally I'd prefer a two part screw back case model if considered as an "every day watch" (as ref. 2508 for example).
For some information about prices, you may check the auction houses archives, such as antiquorum.com or others.
Hope this helps a bit...
Best regards
Suitbert
