Most people would expect & accept black dial ...
... for the upcoming patek 5970pt. My own opinion, is that, if Patek do insist using black dial for this model, it would be a bit disappointing. My personal choice would be light grey. I just think, patek should make this last model of the series more stand out, and less predictable. Nothing against black, just seems to be an easy way out for patek.
Just imagine white dial for patek 5070wg, blue dial for patek 5070pt, silver dial for patek 5970wg, grey dial for patek 5970pt , that would make each model stand out, as patek 5971pt is already in black.
Merely my opinion .

Does anyone know what the official color of the new dial will be for the 5970P. From the pictures it looks either black or a dark blue? The end result is still the same... awesome !! Any insight would be most appreciated..
